Forward Day
Friday — Forward Day
We've traveled a long road this week. From the truth that God prepares people before we arrive, to the honest struggle of our own "no, Lord" moments, to practical steps of surrender, to a story that reminded us our prayers matter — today we carry it all forward.
Today's Scripture: "Then Peter opened his mouth and said: 'In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality. But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him.'" — Acts 10:34-35 (NKJV)
Reflection:
Acts 10 ends with a household transformed — not because they had the right background, but because their hearts were open. And in that moment, Peter said something that turned the world upside down: God shows no partiality.
The table is wider than we build it. The invitation is broader than we extend it.
As you head into this weekend, here's the one thing worth carrying with you from this entire week: We are not called to become a bigger church. We are called to become a broader kingdom family.
A bigger church is measured by how many people are in the room. A kingdom family is measured by who gets to come home.
That changes how you see the people around you this weekend. The neighbor you haven't met. The coworker who's been asking quiet questions. The family member who's been distant. They're not projects. They're not outsiders. They're people God has been preparing — and you might be exactly who He's sending.
Come back on Sunday ready to worship with that in your heart. And between now and then, keep your eyes open. There are Corneliuses in your world.
Today's Application: This weekend, look for one person God might already be preparing. Show up. Be present. Let them watch you trust God — not just talk about Him.
A Closing Thought: The kingdom of God is always bigger than we imagine. The table is always wider than we build it. Go be part of setting it.
