Forward Day

Friday — Forward Day

You're about to walk into a weekend full of rooms — family dinners,
grocery runs, neighborhood conversations, maybe a hard meeting or a
quiet moment of doubt. What if you walked into every one of them
differently?

Today's Scripture: "And the word of God continued to increase, and the
number of the disciples multiplied greatly in Jerusalem." — Acts 6:7

Reflection:

We've covered a lot of ground this week. On Monday, we learned that
growth is a gift — and a weight. Tuesday reminded us we were never
meant to carry it alone. Wednesday called us to stop watching and
start building. Thursday showed us what a Spirit-filled life looks
like on Stephen's face.

And now it's Friday. And the question isn't just what we've learned —
it's what we carry forward.

Acts 6:7 is a summary verse, and it's worth sitting with. The word
increased. Disciples multiplied. Not because everything went smoothly
— there was conflict, there was opposition, there were false
accusations. But because people stayed full of the Holy Spirit and
kept showing up in their assignments.

That's the invitation for your weekend.

Not to perform. Not to have it all together. But to stay full. To come
back to God's presence before you walk into the next hard room. To
remember that you don't need a title or a platform to carry heaven
with you — you just need to have been with Jesus.

As you head into Sunday worship, bring this week with you. Bring the
question you've been sitting with. Bring the assignment you've been
holding back from. Bring your need for a fresh filling.

Yesterday's filling is not enough for today's assignment. But today's
filling is available right now.

Today's Application: Before Sunday, identify one room you'll walk into
this weekend where you want to carry God's presence differently. Pray
over it specifically — and then go.

A Closing Thought: The world doesn't need a more impressive church. It
needs people whose faces show they've been with Jesus. Go be one of
them this weekend.
