Challenge Day

Tuesday — Challenge Day

Have you ever been doing everything right — showing up, working hard, trying to follow God's lead — and the opposition came anyway?

Today's Scripture: "Do not be afraid any longer, but go on speaking and do not be silent, for I am with you, and no man will attack you in order to harm you, for I have many people in this city." — Acts 18:9–10

Reflection: Paul was preaching. He was partnering. He was showing up. And then the people he was trying to reach turned on him — resisting, blaspheming, rejecting the message entirely.

So Paul made a decision. He didn't go home. He went next door. And that night, God spoke to him.

Notice what God didn't promise: He didn't say the opposition would stop. He didn't promise Paul that the people who rejected him would change their minds. He didn't say, "I'll make this easier."

He said, "I am with you."
That's it. That's the promise.

And if you're honest, maybe you've been close to quitting something God called you to. A relationship that's hard. A commitment that's costing you. A step of faith that hasn't gone the way you hoped. The enemy would love for fatigue and discouragement to be the last word.

But God's word to Paul — and to you — is still the same: Don't be afraid. Keep going. I am with you.

The question isn't whether opposition will come. It will. The question is: where do you need to stop trusting your feelings and start trusting His presence?

Today's Application: Name the thing you've been tempted to quit. Then pray: "Lord, I can't do this — but You can. I am with You is enough."

A Closing Thought: Courage doesn't come from your circumstances getting easier. It comes from His presence getting closer. He is with you today.
