Wednesday — Application Day
A testimony that stays within four walls is an incomplete testimony.
Today's Scripture: "...to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me." — Acts 26:18
Reflection:
On Monday we laid the foundation: you were saved for something. Yesterday we got honest about what holds us back. Today, we get practical.
Acts 26:18 is Paul's assignment, handed to him directly by Jesus. And it's not complicated — open eyes, turn people from darkness to light, point them toward God. That's it. That's the mission.
Here's what that looks like in an ordinary Wednesday:
1. Stay available. Divine appointments don't usually announce themselves. They show up as a coworker having a rough day, a stranger in a parking lot, or a conversation that takes an unexpected turn. Your job is simply to stay present and open.
2. Don't skip the prompting. When the Holy Spirit nudges you — to say something, pray for someone, or reach out — don't wait until the moment passes. Obedience has a timing. Act on it.
3. Let your story do the work. You don't need a perfectly packaged testimony or the right theological words. You just need to be willing to say, "Here's where I was, and here's what Jesus did." That's enough. That's always been enough.
The mission doesn't require a stage. It requires a willing heart and an open door.
Today's Application: Identify one person in your life who is in the dark about Jesus. Pray for them by name today, and ask God to open a door — then stay ready to walk through it.
A Closing Thought: You are not just saved from something. You are sent into someone else's future. That's not a calling for someday — it's for today.
