Wednesday — Application Day
You don't have to be a preacher. You don't have to have all the answers. You just have to know your story — and there's a simple way to tell it.
Today's Scripture: "For you are to be his witness, telling everyone what you have seen and heard." — Acts 22:15
Reflection:
Notice what Jesus told Paul to share: not everything he had studied, not a theological defense of Christianity — but what he had seen and heard. His personal encounter. That's it.
Every testimony, no matter how dramatic or quiet, follows a natural three-part arc:
The Then — Who were you before Jesus stepped in? You don't need every detail, but people need to see the "before." Without a before, grace has nothing to work with.
The Jesus — What happened when he showed up? It doesn't have to be a blinding light on a Damascus road. Maybe it was a quiet moment in a car. A conversation at the right time. A Bible discovered in the bottom of a drawer. There was a moment — or a season — when things shifted. Name it.
The Now — Who is he making you into? Not the finished product. The ongoing, present-tense transformation. The work in progress. That's where people see hope — not in your arrival, but in your direction.
This framework works in a coffee shop, at a family gathering, in a text message. It doesn't require a stage or a microphone. It just requires honesty.
Today's Application: Take 10 minutes today and write out your own Then-Jesus-Now. Just a few sentences for each. Keep it somewhere you can refer back to — because you never know when an open door will appear.
A Closing Thought: You've been entrusted with a story that only you can tell. Today is a great day to get it ready.
