Thursday — Testimony Day
What if the most powerful thing you could do for someone who doesn't yet know Jesus isn't a conversation — but simply how you live when things get hard?
Today's Scripture: "But I admit that I follow the Way, which they call a cult. I worship the God of our ancestors, and I firmly believe the Jewish law and everything written in the prophets."— Acts 24:14 (NLT)
Reflection:
Paul didn't have a polished platform. He was a prisoner. He had no leverage, no freedom, and no guarantee of what tomorrow held. And yet when he stood before Felix — one of the most powerful men in the region — he didn't soften the message. He didn't look for a version of the gospel Felix would find more comfortable. He told the truth and let it land.
That is the testimony. Not the dramatic moment. Not the perfect words. A life that backs up what it claims to believe.
Think about the people in your world who are watching. Your kids notice whether you forgive or stay bitter. Your coworkers notice whether your integrity holds when no one's looking. Your neighbors notice whether Sunday carries over into Monday.
A testimony that doesn't cost you anything eventually starts to sound hollow — to the people listening and, honestly, to yourself. But a life that stands firm when it's inconvenient, that forgives when it has every right not to, that stays faithful when the culture says just this once— that is a witness nobody can argue with.
Paul wasn't trying to impress Felix. He was simply being who he was in Christ, consistently, even in prison. And it moved a governor.
Today's Application: Ask yourself: Who is watching my life right now? Choose one area today where you'll let your actions speak louder than your words.
