We Need Each Other

Day 1 —
We Need Each Other

Scripture: Hebrews 10:24–25
“And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works…”
It is easy to think of church as something we attend.

We go to church.
We hear a message.
We sing some songs.
We go home.

But Scripture gives us a much bigger picture.
The church is not simply a place we go. The church is a people we belong to.
There will be seasons when you need the church to lift you up. There will also be seasons when someone else needs you.

That is why isolation is so dangerous. If we only show up when we have a need, who will be there when we need someone to help carry us? And who will we be missing when someone else needs us?

Jesus said:
“For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” — Matthew 18:20

There is something powerful about together.
We worship together.
We pray together.
We learn together.
We celebrate together.
We mourn together.

Reflection:
Am I treating church like a place I attend, or a family I belong to?

Prayer:
“Lord, thank You for giving me a spiritual family. Help me not only receive from the Body of Christ but become someone who strengthens it. Show me who needs encouragement today. Amen.”

Today’s challenge:
Encourage one person in your church family today.
